A study pooling data from multiple medical centers in China shows that the cost-effectiveness of CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory lymphoma has gained international recognition. Using data with a median follow-up of 18 months, the study demonstrates the outstanding performance of CAR-T in complete remission rates and long-term survival.

Interpretation of research results

The study included patients with relapsed or refractory lymphoma who received CAR-T therapy in the past two years, with complete remission rates exceeding 60%. Compared with repeated chemotherapy and transplantation, a single CAR-T infusion can significantly reduce long-term hospitalization and complication costs, with better overall health economics indicators.

For overseas patients, CAR-T therapy was once difficult to access due to high costs and entry barriers. Now, through transparent quotes and green channels on regulated platforms, eligible patients can more clearly evaluate treatment costs and feasibility.
